PNAUPNAU have dropped a new single, Chemistry featuring breakthrough UK artist Master Peace, as they continue their first-ever regional tour across Australia.
The track, from the Australian electronic pop duo’s upcoming album AHHCade, follows the recently released collaborative singles Tu Corazon (Your Heart) with Mexican rock band The Warning, Nirvana featuring EARTHGANG and sadMONTH, and Crash with Maleigh Zan.
“We started this record in Marilyn Monroe’s old apartment on one rather cold Los Angeles day,” PNAU’s Nick Littlemore explained. “I had the idea to put two of my favourite records together - ‘Koma’ by Interactive and ‘Vitamin C’ by CAN, also known as the German Beatles. It wasn’t for many months that we came across Master Peace - the missing piece to this record.”
He continued, “I travelled to London, where I met up with him at 3 am in a town called Penge. Master Peace and I got along swimmingly, and it was clear that he was the voice we needed to complete this record, but not before I called my friends in Mexico and got the famed PNAU Mexico City choir to add their vocal stylings. This has been a song of our dreams, and we hope it’s of yours too.”

Master Peace added, “It feels like an honour to be on a track with these legends. I’ve always been a fan of their stuff and electronic music in general, so to get the call-up and collaborate with PNAU means the world to me!”

AHHCade is scheduled for release on Friday, 31 July, via etcetc. As announced last week, The Music teamed up with PNAU to unveil our first-ever vinyl campaign, with a limited run of just 100 red and blue blast editions of the album now available to pre-order.
The variant has been created in conjunction with Suitcase Records, a family-owned manufacturer in Brisbane that will produce the units, hand-pouring the vinyl. Hence, each unit has its own unique swirl pattern. The vinyl is selling fast. If you don’t want to miss out, secure your copy here.
Littlemore commented that the vinyl would be a great addition to the album’s release, especially for superfans. “It’s kind of cool. It’s got a little bit of mystery about it,” he said in The Music’s recent cover story. “Not that many people are going to have the vinyl, because we’re only doing a small run.”
You can also pre-order/pre-save the album, in all its variants, here.
PNAU are offering fans a sneak peek of AHHCade on their regional tour, which is currently making its way across the East Coast—tickets for the remaining shows are available here. In September, they’ll come home once again to perform at Brisbane’s Night at the Parkland and Sydney’s Night at the Barracks.
