Australian-born, US-based dance group PNAU are returning with their seventh album, set for release this July.

The new album, AHHCade, will be released on Friday, 31 July, via the leading indie label, etcetc.

AHHCade features the recent single, Tu Corazon (Your Heart), a surprise collaboration with rising Mexican rock band The Warning, as well as the newly released number, Nirvana, featuring EARTHGANG and sadMONTH, the latter a new project starring PNAU’s Nick Littlemore and Canadian musician Dom Dias. The band tease additional surprising collaborations to be heard on the album.

PNAU announce the album ahead of their forthcoming Australian tour, which marks their first-ever regional run, also taking place this July. More dates will be revealed soon.

Discussing the album, PNAU’s Nick Littlemore said, “There is a sense of belonging about music, about the journey we have taken. Both Peter and I and our collaborators, creating a home on the dancefloor, between the ears of the listener. We are making heart songs. While, yes, they have electronics and they have technology, they are essentially expressions of the heart.”

On Nirvana, Littlemore added, “Nirvana represents the birth of a new era. It’s fierce, feverish and harks back to the shape of punk electronic yet to come. Get ready to be uptight, upgrooved and unhinged for a new disorder.”

EARTHGANG commented, “For Nirvana, we tapped the euphoric and enlightened energy with PNAU and surfed the electro crush. We appreciate everybody who poured their energy into making it a banger.”

Since their meeting in high school, PNAU’s Nick Littlemore and Peter Mayes have been releasing music together. Their debut album, Sambanova, was an ARIA Award winner, and their latest release, 2024’s Hyperbolic, stretched them to new heights.

Hyperbolic featured collaborations with the likes of Troye Sivan, Khalid, Bebe Rexha, Ozuna, and, of course, Nick Littlemore’s other hugely successful project, Empire of the Sun. What will AHHCade hold?

Tickets to PNAU’s forthcoming tour are now available.
