PNAU Unveil Regional Tour Dates, Surprise Collab With Mexican Rock Band The Warning

"We are hitting every outhouse, doghouse, hip house and acid house on our first-ever regional lyfe tour this June," teased PNAU's Nick Littlemore.

Australian dance heroes PNAU are hitting the road this June and July, keeping regional areas of the country warm this winter. In addition to announcing the tour, the group have unveiled their latest single – an unexpected collaboration with Mexican rock band The Warning.

Throughout June and July, PNAU will bring world-class production to regional venues on their Nirvana tour, stopping in Cairns, Townsville, Airlie Beach, Rockhampton, Bundaberg, Toowoomba, Byron Bay, Coffs Harbour, Shoal Bay, Newcastle, and Gosford. Plus, there’s a “part two” of the regional run to be announced soon.

“Pnau is hitting the road this winter,” enthused Nick Littlemore. “We are hitting every outhouse, doghouse, hip house and acid house on our first-ever regional lyfe tour this June. A true winter warmer. We look forward to seeing all you raving jellybeans out there.”

Meanwhile, The Warning star on the new single, Tu Corazón (Your Heart). PNAU discovered the rockers while shooting an Empire of the Sun music video over a decade ago—when the band were aspiring musicians.

Discussing the collaboration, Nick Littlemore said, “Tu Corazón is a flash of ecstatic dance, coming at you from our sister city of Monterrey—a once storied adventure, now a booming jam-punk, love and all wild. Try as you might to sit still, I challenge you to do so. You have been warned!”

The Warning adds, “This song is about opening your heart to every beautiful thing this world has to offer through community and the people we love. We had a great time working with PNAU, creating something this unique and fun!

“It was a very nostalgic process for us, and we loved connecting with our past selves through this song. We are grateful to have been a part of this record, and we love Pete and Nick very much!”

The Warning is an all-sister band comprising Daniela, Paulina, and Alejandra. At the ages of 14, 12, and 9, they posted a cover of Metallica’s Enter Sandman on YouTube, which subsequently went viral for their musical ability and undeniable rock attitude. To date, the band has released four studio albums, one live album, two EPs, and 18 music videos.
