"I think it's going to be great."
ABBA legend Benny Andersson has revealed the long-awaited hologram tour is scheduled to go ahead in early 2019.
During Channel Seven's Sunday Night ABBA special, the Swedish composer confirmed that the show will be a live production... everything, except ABBA that is.
"Everything is live, apart from us who are there as either a hologram or an avatar format," he said.
"We will use the recordings from our live performances or from the records, as well as with the band playing."
Andersson continued, "It's a lot of work. From just deciding what songs are we going to play, which order will it be."
Beloved Aussie music critic Ian "Molly" Meldrum, who has campaigned for the iconic group to bring the show to Australia, said "ABBA are going to tour again, but it's with a difference, with a magical difference.
