The Presets, Cut Copy, Ladyhawke Lead New Live Music Event ‘FOREVERAFTER’

A new live music event celebrating the most influential dance music from Australia and New Zealand is on the way, taking place at massive venues across the East Coast in early 2027.

FOREVERAFTER, curated and co-headlined by The Presets, commemorates the duo’s friendships and collaborators, locking in fellow headliners Cut Copy and Ladyhawke. Joining them are Bag Raiders and Bang Gang DJs, showcasing DJ sets, as well as rising star FUKHED.

FOREVERAFTER will take place at Melbourne’s Sidney Myer Music Bowl on Sunday, 17 January, Sydney’s Carriageworks on Saturday, 23 January, and Brisbane’s Riverstage on Saturday, 30 January.

The new event is promoted by Frontier Touring’s Sahara Herald, who previously played a major role behind the scenes of the legendary Big Day Out, where many of the artists on the FOREVERAFTER bill made their names known in the festival’s Boiler Room.

“I loved this concept and the intrinsic sense of camaraderie from the moment Kim and Jules first floated their ideal line-up to us,” Herald said. “These artists all create sounds which have made - and continue to make - waves that will last forever.”

Explaining how the event came to be, The Presets’ Julian Hamilton and Kim Moyes shared, “We’ve made a racket alongside most of these artists for years, onstage and off. This is our idea of the ultimate party. We’ve all talked about it forever — so it’s about time.”

It’s an idea that’s thrilled everyone on the line-up, too.

Cut Copy’s Dan Whitford said, “We came up playing shows with most of these artists. And looking back it was a pretty unique scene, so it will be great to celebrate the spirit of that era with some killer shows!”
