Massive AttackMassive Attack are heading to Australia in August, and their highly anticipated return to our shores has been met with extraordinary demand.
The British trip-hop pioneers are playing three arena shows along the East Coast, taking over the Brisbane Entertainment Centre on Thursday, 6 August, Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena on Sunday, 9 August, and Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena on Tuesday, 11 August.
The Melbourne show sold out in a matter of days, and now the Sydney show is also sold out. Final tickets remain for the group’s Brisbane date – get your hands on tickets via the Frontier Touring website.
The Bristol collective, led by founding members Robert “3D” Del Naja and Grant “Daddy G” Marshall, arrive in Australia this August after a 16-year wait. Their Australian shows follow an exclusive run in Europe, where they’ve been joined by frequent collaborators Elizabeth Fraser and Horace Andy.

After more than three decades of reshaping contemporary music, Massive Attack continue to present an extraordinarily distinct show that combines sound, film, politics, and visual art, making for an uncompromising and immersive event.
Massive Attack announced their long-awaited tour earlier this month, just weeks after they released their first new music in six years: the incensed Boots on the Ground featuring Tom Waits.
The group’s most recent studio album, Heligoland, was released in 2010. It peaked at #8 in Australia and went Gold in the UK. In 2016, they released the Ritual Spirit EP, and in 2020, they shared the Eutopia EP.
In 2024, Massive Attack teamed up with Young Fathers and Fontaines D.C. and released the limited-edition vinyl EP, Ceasefire. The EP is a collection of songs that support Médecins Sans Frontières / Doctors Without Borders (MSF) in its emergency operations in Gaza and the West Bank.
