Respected US musician Lou Reed has passed away aged 71. Reed died in hospital over the weekend, with the official cause, complications from a liver transplant. “Reed's literary agent, Andrew Wylie, said the musician died on Sunday morning in Southampton, New York, of an illness related to the transplant,” The Guardian writes.
