Passenger treated the Melbourne audience to a stunning solo set.

Whispers is an admittedly more upbeat record than we’re used to hearing from the folk-singing Englishman.

Passenger invited Larsen on stage to end the night off beautifully with some crowd participation, before putting his guitar in its case, packing his suitcase and bidding farewell to the country.

It was a little too much lather, rinse, repeat and not enough spontaneity, which resulted in a good concert that could have been great.
