Kings Of Leon Profile

It’s been a few years between drinks for the acclaimed rockers, but with a new album on the way, Tennessee outfit Kings Of Leon have announced their triumphant return to Australia.

Kicking off on February 28th, the group will launch their latest run of local dates as the latest international headliners added to the Sydney Summertime concert series at Centennial Park.

From there, they’ll travel up to Brisbane Showgrounds on March 3rd, before wrapping up at Melbourne's Flemington Racecourse on March 5th. At all dates, they'll be joined by Sydney's Northern Beaches psych rockers Ocean Alley.

The forthcoming dates will be the band’s first time in Australia since 2022, with that tour itself ending an almost nine-year absence from our shores.

The newly-announced tour comes just weeks before the release of Kings Of Leon’s tenth album, O My Beloved, which arrives on November 6th.

It’s their first album since 2024’s Can We Please Have Fun, and is set to serve as something of a love letter to their family, and the journey which has led them to where they are today.

“We have already surpassed anything we ever imagined we could do, and we’ve built something that is so special,” explained singer Caleb Followill. “I thought, wouldn’t it be beautiful to make an album that is looking back on all of the things that we’ve done and appreciating how we got here.

"In the songs, there’s our families, stories from our childhood, things that maybe didn’t seem that significant at the time, but the way they find their way into these songs kind of lets me realize how impactful they really were in my life.”
