Tina Arena has never done anything like this in her career, but after 50 years of making music, touring, and entertaining fans across the globe, she’s embarking on her first-ever residency.

Throughout August 2027, the Chains hitmaker will present her 5.0 Residency Tour at Crown LIVE, Melbourne’s newest premium entertainment venue—where Foo Fighters are playing a one-off show in between stadium tour dates across Australia.

The intimate 1,250-seat theatre, located at Crown Melbourne, marks the space where Arena will perform her sole Australian shows of the year.

She said of the milestone:

50 years since you first welcomed me into your lives through music. In August 2027, I’ll be celebrating that journey with something truly special - my 5.0 Residency Tour at the brand-new Crown Live in Melbourne, and my only Australian shows of the year. I can’t wait to share this next chapter with you.

The Tina Arena, Face to Face Touring, and Crown pre-sales open on Tuesday, 20 October, at 10 am AEDT. The general sale begins on Wednesday, 21 October, at 11 am AEDT via Tina Arena’s website.

The announcement of Arena’s first-ever residency arrives during a busy period for the singer. Her new EP, Way of the World, dropped today. The six-track EP features her interpretations of New Order’s True Faith, Max Q’s Way of the World, Depeche Mode’s Enjoy the Silence, Duran Duran’s Ordinary World, Ada Mori’s Torno Bambina, and Frank Ocean’s Cayendo.

Plus, her new documentary, Tina Arena: Unravel Me, airs on Channel Seven this weekend after its premiere at the Melbourne International Film Festival in August.

Arena said of the celebrations marking 50 years in the entertainment business, “It’s hard to believe it’s been fifty years since I first stepped into the spotlight at just eight years old as a contestant on Young Talent Time.

“This next artistic chapter is about freedom, creativity and sharing my truth and experiences on my own terms, and I want my beautiful, loyal fans to celebrate with me.”
