With the music media eye firmly fixed on the Australian scene due to the success of its heavy acts as of late, one band have been honing their craft for the last few years before setting its sights on the world. Electrik Dynamite spent the early months of 2011 recording their debut album "Hair.Denim.Sex.Metal" with Lord Tim (Lord, Dungeon) at SLS Studios in Wollongong, producing an impressive and exciting record that blends the sound of modern metal with classic 80's rock and roll.

  You Me At Six have dropped the clip for their latest single "Loverboy". The track opens their upcoming album "Sinner Never Sleep" which will be out October 3rd.  Deceiver are set to release their self-titled debut on Friday the 14th October through Dogfight Records. Formed from ex-members of The War, Strength Through Purity, Sink Or Swim, Crime Scene and Before The Throne, the essentially Queensland band released a demo six months ago, which has seen them gaining attention from all quarters of the Australian hardcore scene. Their self-titled debut is ten tracks of heavy hardcore that combines breakdowns that will have moshpits moving with fast, melodic guitar melodies that will infect anyone that listens with their catchiness. Add to this guest vocals from Vincent Bennet (The Acacia Strain) and Bruce Lepaige (ex-100 Demons) and the result is a record that will aurally assault its listeners. Vocalist Mitch Love, said of the record, “We wanted to write stuff that the kid who loves to move can move to, and the dude who wants to stand and the back with his mates can bob his head to.
