From grungy apartment chills to weird psychedelic trip in a second.. Following a video premiere on Vice's NOISEY, Sydney's DMA's continue their march of world dominance, winning the hearts and minds of all and sundry with their Brit-pop vibes, low key aesthetic and general seemingly disinterested attitude. But when the music's this good you know it's a bunch of very talented young chaps making extremely fun sing-along pub-pop that's easy to see why they've captured the attention of many here and abroad. Their latest clip, for Laced and shot by Sydney director Gabrielle Dadgostar seems like it's just gonna be three dudes sitting around a dingy apartment, until it explodes into a colourful psychedelic flurry of weird shit. Perfect. They're playing Southbound next year, so get your tinnies ready, lighters lit and shoulders warmed up for some serious arm-in-arm sing-along vibes.

The Newtown trio drop new single, from an upcoming 7-inch.. Since first coming to our (and pretty much everyone's) attention with the release of their debut single Delete and simultaneously joining the I OH YOU family, DMA's have had a killer 2014. Their self-titled EP has seen them touring the country already on the reg, slaying Splendour In The Grass and garnering influential new fans like NME Radar and Blur's Dave Rowntree. Keeping the good vibes going, the trio have announced the release of the Laced/So We Know 7-inch. It's not out til November, when it will drop in the USA via Mermaid Avenue/Mom & Pop Records (Wavves, Fidlar) and here via I OH YOU. After a top showing at Splendour, DMA's are hittin' the ol' dustry trail.. Since bursting onto the scene earlier this year with the one-two punch of sing-along smash Delete and joining the increasingly strong I OH YOU team, DMA's have done nothing to dispell the hype with much-hyped live shows around the country, constant radio play and copping love from the likes of Blur's Dave Rowntree. And following a barnstorming set on the McLennan Stage at Splendour last weekend, they're hitting the road with special guests The Creases.
