A huge gig for the Sydney trio.

More DMA'S More DMA'S

On the back of this morning's news that new shows have been added to their upcoming tour due to overwhelming demand, it has been confirmed that DMA'S will be making their US TV debut next week, when they perform on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert.

The gig is obviously a huge deal for the Sydney trio given the show's renowned status in America, which up until May last year, was hosted by veteran host David Letterman for 22 years until Colbert took on the role, jumping ship from his own acclaimed talk show, The Colbert Report.

The music guest spot has been filled by some of the world's biggest names with the likes of Kendrick Lamar, Pearl Jam, Ed Sheeran and Florence & The Machine all appearing on Colbert's show in the last year, while Australia's own Tame Impala and Courtney Barnett have also performed.

DMA'S' performance will take place next Tuesday (US time), the same night Star Wars: The Force Awakens director JJ Abrams and Academy Award-winning actress Helen Mirren will appear as guests.
