The Dirty Three did it for Danielle O'Donohue this past year.

“I feel like it’s competitive in Nashville. I don’t feel like Los Angeles is like that. I mean it is, but I don’t think with music. LA’s more based around the film industry so I kind of feel like I’m on the outskirts of that and I can just look in and observe and do my thing."

“It had to happen I guess. I’d love to give a certain producer who I love a call but our budget didn’t permit any of that kind of behaviour. I’ll make it clear, I didn’t get paid.”

One audience member said of the show, “What a silly load of nonsense”. It was an apt description considering it was meant in the nicest possible way.
