The crowd stand cheering as Watt and Dammit remain the last two battling it out on stage. At the death, Watt tosses his bass, bows, delicately places his glasses on his face and limps from the stage.

The set is peppered with new tracks, as well as favourites from Kitty, Daisy & Lewis and Smoking In Heaven, with Going Up The Country eliciting the most hollering from the audience.

Of course everyone jumps to their feet for You Can Call Me Al and the dreamy glittering guitars of Graceland and we leave the auditorium to Sinatra’s swinging version of Mrs Robinson – a playfully cheeky move on Simon’s part.

The crowd demand more but Endless Boogie have left the building. Thankfully they will be back at the Tote again this Friday.

In the end, he offers the audience a moral: don’t end up on someone else’s shitlist. It’s advice we would all do well to heed, lest we someday, somehow end up on Chopper’s list.

Triumphantly finishing the show strumming on an electric guitar, Jimeoin is still relevant and definitely worth the entry fee.

Its a colourful high energy show that attempts to say too much without saying much at all.

Ryan Coffey is a must see musical comedy experience.

If you’re the type of person that dreads sitting in the front row because you could be coerced into co starring in the show, then this one probably isn’t for you.

But to Retaliation’s credit, it does throw enough flak at our heroes that victory never seems like a completely foregone conclusion.

It’s an intelligent film with a stellar cast, including Julie Christie, Nick Nolte, Chris Cooper and many more great names.
