Triumphantly finishing the show strumming on an electric guitar, Jimeoin is still relevant and definitely worth the entry fee.
Jimeoin's opening night of this year's festival saw an eclectic crowd gather at the Athenaeum Theatre to kick the Easter weekend off. There seemed to be a certain air of expectation or quiet confidence, that like always he would get the job done. Performing his latest routine - 'What?!' Jimeoin certainly didn't disappoint.
Making his name here many years ago as that loveable Irishman, Jimeoin is still delighting us with his wit and did it again in the Athenaeum where he was not just charming but genuinely funny
As with many comics, Jimeoin's simple insights into everyday life form the crux of his jokes, but his quirky facial expressions and crazy mannerisms really complete his act. This combination again worked wonders on the gratefully accepting audience who lapped up the laughs from start to end.
