MadonnaIt’s the collaboration pop music fans have wanted for decades. This Friday (7 August), Madonna and Kylie Minogue will unveil their first-ever team-up with a brand-new rendition of the former’s song, Love Sensation.
Over the weekend, Minogue surprised the music world when, across 24 hours, she shared the stage with both Nick Cave and Madonna.
Nick Cave was first – she joined him for his massive concert in Brighton, UK, for a performance of Where the Wild Roses Grow, and on Sunday, she accompanied Madonna in Amsterdam for her Club Confessions set at WorldPride.

The new version of Love Sensation, starring Minogue, follows the recently released original – it’s a hit track from Madonna’s new album, Confessions II. The original single recently reached #1 on the Billboard US Dance Airplay chart, People reports.
In June, Madonna was interviewed by Graham Norton about her Confessions II album, and during the live recording, Kylie made a surprise appearance. The two pop favourites also took an adorable selfie together, making fans run wild with speculation about a possible collaboration on Reddit.

Kylie and Madonna have previously shared the stage. During Madonna’s Celebration Tour in 2024, Minogue appeared at the Los Angeles stop, where the duo performed a surprise cover of Gloria Gaynor’s disco classic, I Will Survive, and an a cappella rendition of Minogue’s Can’t Get You Out of My Head.
Kylie Minogue has been busy. Last month, she was heard on the Snow Patrol collaboration, These Alarms, a song the Northern Irish rockers initially finished in 2024 but quickly realised was missing something essential: Kylie’s voice.
Kylie returned home last February and March amid incredible anticipation, with extra dates added to her arena tour in support of her Tension album. Earlier this year, she was the subject of an intimate Netflix documentary – check out The Music’s takeaways here.
Meanwhile, Madonna dropped Confessions II last month, the long-awaited sequel album to her 2006 record, Confessions on a Dance Floor.
