Madonna

Madonna's long-awaited return to the VMAs coincided with Taylor Swift premiering a new track alongside her receipt of an inaugural award.

Madonna and Charli XCX have reworked the former’s song, 'Danceteria,' and the new rendition arrives soon.

The halftime show and closing ceremony also included performances from Post Malone, Robbie Williams, Madonna, and more.

A sequel to 2005's lauded Confessions On A Dance Floor, Madonna's new album CONFESSIONS II celebrates her Detroit roots – and positions her as a leader of today's inter-generational electronic dance music movement.

“I’ve had an extraordinary life. I’ve had a huge life, so I needed a big budget,” Madonna shared.

The new short film is available to watch ahead of Madonna's new album, 'Confessions II,' which arrives next month.

The pop icon criticised fans' "persistent need" to document everything

Madonna seemingly called out Charli xcx and other dance music naysayers by remarking, “If your Dance floor feels dead, maybe you’re playing the wrong music.”

After premiering their collaboration at Coachella weekend two, the two pop stars have shared details of the song's official release.

“Grindr is one of the few brand partners hand-selected by the OG Mother to officially partner on the release of Confessions II,” a statement from the app reads.
