MadonnaMadonna has taken the promotion of her upcoming album, Confessions II, up a notch. Ahead of the full-length’s release, fans can experience a decent chunk of it for free, with CONFESSIONS II – The Film now playing on YouTube.
The new short film, directed by TORSO, is available to watch on YouTube following its premiere at last week’s Tribeca Film Festival. It offers an immersive, cinematic experience that showcases Madonna’s forthcoming album through the first six songs: I Feel So Free, Good for the Soul, One Step Away, Bring Your Love with Sabrina Carpenter, Danceteria, and Read My Lips featuring Feid.
Produced by DIVISION and powered by Dolce & Gabbana, Maverick and Warner Records, as well as music direction by Madonna’s collaborator, Stuart Price, CONFESSIONS II – The Film exceeds ten minutes and connects the audio with dramatic visuals.
Each song unfolds across six separate yet interconnected chapters, featuring multi-faceted explorations through a “sexy thriller, a dance delusion,” and “an epic fever dream.” Themes of freedom, connection, desire, nightlife, and the endless power of dance are all presented.

The film’s centrepiece is Danceteria—the song and a tribute to the New York club that helped shape Madonna’s early creative years. The collective fever dream stars Kate Moss, Benedict Cumberbatch, Arca, Honey Dijon, Richard E. Grant, Shygirl, and many others.

The rollout of Confessions II – the continuation of Madonna’s hit-filled Confessions of a Dance Floor, released 20 years ago – has been met with incredible success. The anthemic I Feel So Free reached #1 on the Billboard Dance Airplay Chart, while in the UK, Bring Your Love with Sabrina Carpenter topped the Club Chart.
Confessions II is scheduled for release on Friday, 3 July, via Warner Records. It’s available to pre-order/pre-save here.
The original album features the hit single Hung Up, which topped the charts in 41 countries. With an iconic sample of ABBA’s Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! (A Man After Midnight), Hung Up preceded the release of subsequent singles Sorry, Get Together, and Jump.
At the 2007 Grammy Awards, Madonna took home the win for Best Electronic/Dance Album with Confessions on a Dance Floor.
