Sombr Announces 2027 Australian Tour

The tour will take place in arenas, reflecting the increased demand for sombr since his Australian and New Zealand debut last December.

Global pop phenom sombr is heading back to Australia and New Zealand, today announcing an expansion of his You Are The Reason World Tour.

His headline dates on our shores will take place in arenas, reflecting the increased demand for sombr since his Australian and New Zealand debut last December. At the time, he performed instantly sold-out shows across the region and stunned fans at last year’s iteration of Spilt Milk Festival.

In 2027, he returns to the antipodean region as one of the most talked-about figures in modern music. The Australian leg of the tour begins at Adelaide’s AEC Arena on Tuesday, 13 April.

It continues at Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena on Thursday, 15 April, the Brisbane Entertainment Centre on Monday, 19 April, and concludes at Sydney’s Afterpay Arena (formerly known as Qudos Bank Arena) on Thursday, 22 April. Following the Australian run, sombr will head to New Zealand and play a final show at Auckland’s Spark Arena on Tuesday, 27 April.

Described as “Gen Z’s rockstar heir,” sombr began as a New York-born artist making music from a makeshift bedroom and, today, remains the sole writer and co-producer of his chart-topping singles.

Sombr released his debut album, I Barely Know Her, last year. Three of the singles: back to friends, 12 to 12, and undressed reached Platinum-certified status in Australia and New Zealand, as well as in his native United States.

In addition to his chart achievements, sombr continues to make a splash on festival line-ups including Coachella and Lollapalooza, attracting co-signs from the likes of Billy Corgan, Laufey, Billy Idol, and Sam Smith.

Sombr’s 2026 singles, Homewrecker and Potential, showcase his artistic evolution, while his latest smash hit, My Body Isn’t Ready, debuted in the Top 10 charts worldwide.
