Live Review: Baths, Andras Fox, Kirkus
Technical issues plague the entirety of the set, but luckily this sort of works within Baths’ glitching, jarring aesthetic.

Live Review: A1 Bassline, P. Morris, D.Y.P., Clunk
Burial’s powerfully sombre Southern Comfort washed over the lucky remainders at the 2am mark, settling things down nicely to conclude a marvellous evening.

Live Review: Calling All Cars, The Love Junkies, The Sinking Teeth
The band blitzed the remainder of their set, with the unfaltering rhythm section locked into the growling guitar lines and full-throttle vocal melodies of the upbeat anthem Standing In The Ocean to close the night.

Live Review: Cloud Control
On a positive whim, the band allowed the audience to dance to the final song on stage; and at that moment, any observer could feel truly connected to the band’s sound as they raised their hands to Cloud Control’s catchy music.

Live Review: King Gizzard And The Lizard Wizard, The Silents, Mt Mountain, Pat Chow
The band departed quickly but the buzz in the air after such an epic ending was rife and all who were there would surely be considering themselves lucky to have experienced such a wonderful show.

Live Review: Sebadoh, Fait Accompli
A great show and here’s hoping the boys got the well-earned rest they certainly deserved.

Live Review: Sebadoh, Blank Realm, Major Leagues
A somewhat laissez-faire performance because of the small turnout, but one that’s fortunately no less enjoyable than usual.

Live Review: Sticky Fingers, Bootleg Rascal, The Walking Who
Sticky Fingers are a band with a great show and a knack for writing very catchy tunes. If you do get a chance to see them, you’ll not only have a fun night, but one of their infectious riffs or melodies will bore its way into your head and stay there for a week or so.

Live Review: Stonefield, King Of The North, Millar Jukes, The Bandits
By now it seems the girls have well and truly found their groove and, with show closer Through The Clover, they sign off, having delivered a tight performance that belies the tenderness of their youth.

Live Review: The Beards, Greta Mob, Jimmy Swouse, The Angry Darts
They had a keytar, a guitarist dressed like a Hasidic Jew, aviator shades and a saxophone solo and provided one of the most fun performances this reviewer has seen.

Live Review: The Hello Morning, Hot Spoke, Tim Wheatley
Joe Cope’s gurgling organ-grinding made everything feel like gospel in the best way, and the whole event was a real treat.

Live Review: Tinpan Orange, Mama Kin
A thoroughly entertaining performance, with no other word to describe it but ‘pleasant’ – meant in the best way possible – this was a chilled-out, easy gig and a great way to spend a Saturday night (without wishing to sound too much like a grandma).
