Party In The Paddock Expands Line-Up With Major International Artists

The beloved Tassie festival Party In The Paddock has released a new wave of artists who will join the already massive line-up, and it's looking to be their biggest year yet. 

In a delightful surprise, Aussie favourites DMA's have been revealed as the secret headliner from the initial bill, joining previously announces headliners Gang of Youths.

Other artists jumping in late in the game include Eurodance outfit Vengaboys, US rapper Yung Gravy and electronic outfit Art Vs Science, as well as Kat Edwards, The Moving Stills, Seaside, EWAH and The Vision of Paradise, Slaughterhäus Surf Cult, Apricot Ink, Lune River, Isabel Rumble, Morality Trope, Close Counters (with a DJ set). 

They join a huge group of previously announced artists, including indie-pop sensation Benee, electronic duo The Presets, Aussie pop-princess Vera Blue, as well as Meg Mac, Methyl Ethel, Hockey Dad and Genesis Owusu.

Further down the line-up are emotive punks, Slowly Slowly, Peach PRC, Teen Jesus And The Jean Teasers, Perth's Carla Geneve, and many more.

This year's event sees the return of Party In The Paddock after the organisers announced that the 2020 edition would be it's last. 

"We've had to be really honest with ourselves. All things - no matter how special - must at some point come to an end, and we want the most special project of our lives to go out on top." They said. 

Luckily, the team were Inspired by the music community's enthusiasm for the festival and the gaping hole without it, prompting them to bring it back for another string of hurrahs.

Next year's event will be held in a new venue, Quercus Park, just a 25-minute drive from Launceston, on 10, 11, and 12 February.
