With this year’s South Australian Music Awards (SA Music Awards) rapidly approaching, there’s an exciting update for artists and the local community alike: public voting is now open, and tickets to this year’s awards are now available.

The 2026 SA Music Awards return to the Adelaide Entertainment Centre on Tuesday, 10 November, to commemorate the state’s contemporary music scene. Presented by MusicSA, the SA Music Awards annually recognise, promote and celebrate excellence throughout the vibrant, diverse music community.

Voting is now open for the SA Music Awards’ People’s Choice Awards, covering artists across an abundance of genres. Public voting closes on Monday, 5 October, at midnight.

From today, music fans will get to vote for their favourite South Australian artists and bands across 12 categories: blues & roots, country, electronic, experimental & art, folk, heavy metal, hip-hop, jazz, pop, punk, rock, and soul/funk/R&B.

Head here to cast your vote.

“The SA Music Awards is the one night each year our whole industry comes together to recognise the music that is created in studios and on stages in South Australia all year round,” said Music SA CEO, Christine Schloithe.

“We’re looking forward to a big night of music industry celebration that reflects just how much talent South Australia has to offer.”

South Australian Deputy Premier and Minister for Arts, Kyam Maher MLC, added, “South Australian artists continue to achieve remarkable success on local, national and international stages, and the South Australian Music Awards are a fitting celebration of their contribution to our state’s cultural life.

“Public voting gives music fans the chance to recognise the artists they love and champion the incredible talent emerging from every corner of South Australia.

“Backed by our new A Sound Future music strategy, the Labor Government is committed to supporting a strong and sustainable music ecosystem that nurtures talent, creates pathways and strengthens South Australia’s reputation as Australia’s first UNESCO City of Music.”

Tickets to attend this year’s SA Music Awards are now available via the South Australian Music Awards website.
