Melbourne rockers push their way into the 50

More The Mark Of Cain More The Mark Of Cain

Adelaide rock trio The Mark Of Cain have made an instant impact with their comeback record Songs Of The Third & Fifth, with the record debuting at 38 on the ARIA Album Charts this week. After streaming the record on theMusic.com.au last week, the band also announced their first tour in years to re-introduce themselves to fans.

Further up the charts there was little movement this week, with ARIA Award ceremony-bound Taylor Swift holding top spot again with Red, ahead of Pink's The Truth About Love which moves back up to second and Delta Goodrem shows impressive staying power at three with Child Of The Universe.

The highest debut came from Robbie Williams' Take The Crown at four while Calvin Harris debuted at five with 18 Months – the same album shooting straight to the top of this week's Digital Album chart.

As predicted, Christmas albums have started to come to the fore with Midnight Oil's new best of Essential Oils debuting at seven and Rod Stewart's Merry Christmas, Baby starting its run at 10. Obese records signing Kerser landed at 15 with No Rest For The Sickest.

There was finally a change in the ARIA Singles Chart with Swedish House Mafia's hard-charging Don't You Worry Child knocking off Psy's Gangnam Style at the top. Guy Sebastian is the only Australian act in the top 20 with Battle Scars – featuring Lupe Fiasco – at 11, down from five last week.
