What has been going on in the world of Australian indie music this week?

Melbourne's Dune, who's worked with The Sleepy Jackson and Pnau, announced her debut single and launch shows in Sydney and Melbourne.

After they're done with their national Karnivool support, Sydney post-rock favourites Sleepmakeswaveswill head out on their own headline tour in August, as if they hadn't been busy enough this year with Euro and American tours in the bag.

Still in Sydney, and guitar-pop four piece Siren Lineshave got their act together and have their first single proper. Launch dates too.

Perth's Mezzaninehave announced their first ever national tour, with nine dates around the country.

There were a number of local acts who picked up nominations for the Queensland Music Awards, with DZ Deathraysscoring four nods. Full list of nominations and performing acts here.
