Two months after officially introducing the Australian Music Touring Network (AMTN), the official website launched today (30 October).
The move coincides with the 2026 Regional & Remote Music Summit, held this week in Mount Gambier, South Australia. The Australian Music Industry Network (AMIN) developed the AMTN to provide a new, free national online platform for live music venues across the country.
Booking and finding venues just got easier, with the Australian Music Touring Network's map-based directory. It’s become a new resource for artists, managers, booking agents, tour managers, and music industry professionals across metropolitan, regional, and remote Australia.
Highlights of the newly launched national touring program, aside from being free, include a centralised resource to simplify tour planning, an interactive venue map, venue search and filters, detailed venue profiles, and a favourites list to help with future tour planning.
Other elements include a touring route planner, an interactive tour builder, distance and driving-time estimates, the ability to export touring itineraries, a Community Radio Station Directory in partnership with the Community Broadcasting Association of Australia (CBAA), and artist and industry connections.
With reliable venue information and up-to-date booking contacts in one place, artists and their teams can easily build new relationships on the road. It also offers venues an opportunity to improve visibility and connect with artists.
Live music venues across Australia are encouraged to register to get on the Australian Music Touring Network map, while artists and industry professionals can sign up for free access.

“I’m delighted to see MusicNSW’s Regional Touring Network (RTN) inspiring the development of the Australian Music Touring Network,” said Joe Muller, Managing Director of MusicNSW.
“The success of the RTN and the feedback we’ve received from artists about its value underpins this national expansion, and I look forward to all of Australia having access to this invaluable resource.”
