5 Seconds Of Summer Profile5 Seconds of Summer have finally come home. The beloved pop-rock band launched their EVERYONE’S A STAR! Australian tour at Brisbane’s Riverstage on Wednesday (28 October), delivering a night of fan-favourites and new songs.
Promoting their latest album, EVERYONE’S A STAR, the first show of their Australian tour featured plenty of new tracks (eight songs) alongside classics from throughout their career. Plus, one solo track from each band member – Luke Hemmings, Ashton Irwin, Calum Hood and Michael Clifford – since they’ve all released solo albums.
The night was split into seven movements: The Peak, The Fall, The Yearning, The Breakup, The Rise, The Beginning, and The Return, with 27 songs performed throughout the night.
In addition to new songs, fans heard tracks like She Looks So Perfect, Teeth, Youngblood, She’s Kinda Hot, and many more. Check out the first setlist of the tour below.

EVERYONE’S A STAR! was released last November. The making of the album saw 5 Seconds of Summer holed up in Los Angeles and Nashville studios with producers Jason Evigan (Benson Boone, Rüfüs Du Sol), Julian Bunetta, and John Ryan (Sabrina Carpenter, Teddy Swims).
“This band is made of four people who could all have their own solo albums where they do it all, sing it all, and write it all,” Luke Hemmings explained. “Everyone’s A Star! embodies all of that.
“We were teenagers at the beginning of 5 Seconds of Summer. We were writing with more naivete, but we said what we were thinking. As time goes on, you tend to get a bit more cautious about what you say, but I think this record has more of our original spirit—but with 15 years of wisdom and a dash of reckless abandon.”
