Just weeks after breaking their lengthy silence and sharing a new single and word of a new album, world-beating pop rockers 5 Seconds Of Summer have announced a run of Australian tour dates.
The new shows take place across Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, and Perth in October and November of 2026, and are part of the group’s lengthy world tour plans.
The global run of shows officially launches in March with a batch of dates across the UK and Europe, before North American tour plans will keep the quartet occupied between May and August.
5 Seconds Of Summer last released a new album by way of 2022’s 5SOS5, with bandmembers Calum Hood and Michael Clifford issuing solo albums this year – following in the footsteps of Luke Hemmings and Ashton Irwin in previous years.
Having last performed live in 2023, the group hit the stage for the first time in two years in late September, premiering new single, including NOT OK, for the first time. The track – alongside their newest single, Telephone Busy – will appear on their new album, Everyone’s A Star!, which arrives on November 14th.

Recorded throughout 2024 and 2025, Everyone’s A Star! saw 5 Seconds Of Summer holed up in Los Angeles and Nashville studios with producers Jason Evigan (Benson Boone, Papa Roach, Rüfüs Du Sol), Julian Bunetta, and John Ryan (Sabrina Carpenter, Teddy Swims).
“This band is made of four people who could all have their own solo albums where they do it all, sing it all, and write it all,” Hemmings said of the record. “Everyone’s A Star! embodies all of that.
“We were teenagers at the beginning of 5 Seconds Of Summer. We were writing with more naivete, but we said what we were thinking. As time goes on, you tend to get a bit more cautious about what you say, but I think this record has more of our original spirit—but with 15 years of wisdom and a dash of reckless abandon.”
