Australian Crawl ProfileThe Live Nation-presented On The Steps program, held at the Sydney Opera House Forecourt, is gearing up for another season this summer, with the final acts now confirmed for its 2026 line-up.
Running from Saturday, 28 November, until Saturday, 12 December, this year’s concert series arrives with an increased capacity and more shows than ever.
Twelve evenings of live music will be held before 7,000 people per show, with Support Act once again partnering with the series to raise funds for music workers in need of a helping hand.
With the addition of Australian Crawl, now kicking off the series on Saturday, 28 November, and special guests Boom Crash Opera, the Sydney Opera House Forecourt is the place to be this summer.
Other newly announced acts include Pub Choir’s Ultimate PDA, presented by Ausify, on Sunday, 29 November – encouraging an evening of singalongs and comedy – and British singer-songwriter Suki Waterhouse, launching her Australian tour in Sydney on Tuesday, 8 December.
Already announced acts taking over the iconic Sydney venue include Rise Against joined by Dropkick Murphys and Haywire, James Blake, DMA’S with special guests Automatic, Wolf Alice with special guests Folk Bitch Trio and Swapmeet, Dizzee Rascal with Example and others, two sold-out nights with Spacey Jane and special guests Telenova and Armlock, The Amity Affliction’s biggest Sydney show to date, and more.

Mike Ross, Promoter at Live Nation Australia, said of this year’s program, “Live music wouldn’t be possible without the people working behind the scenes. Fans really got behind our On The Steps merchandise last year, and we’re excited to build on that support with a new design that gives them a great memento of the shows while raising funds for music workers doing it tough.”
“Big respect to the Opera House for having us,” DMA’S said. “It’s a great stage with a lot of history. This is the biggest show we’ve put together, so we're stoked to have the privilege - see you this summer.”
Clive Miller, CEO of Support Act, added, “On The Steps is a celebration of live music, and our partnership with the event series is a chance to give back to the people who make it possible.
“We’re grateful to Live Nation for continuing this partnership and to every fan who buys a T-shirt or makes a donation. Funds raised through the series help Support Act to provide short-term financial relief and mental health support to music workers in crisis.”
