Devo's guitarist and founding member Bob Casale died unexpectedly yesterday, February 17th, from heart failure aged 61.

US metal stalwarts Killswitch Engage have revealed they'll be returning to Australian shores come April. Most recently in the country for Soundwave last year, the Massachusetts metalcore quintet will be back to showcase tracks from sixth studio album 'Disarm the Descent' along with old favourites. The band, who reunited with original vocalist Jesse Leach back in 2012, will play five headline dates across the country throughout April.Joining Killswitch Engage will be heavy metal supergroup Kill Devil Hill. Releasing sophomore album 'Revolution Rise' late last year, the band includes former members of the likes of Black Sabbath, Dio, Pantera and Down.

Crosses are a different kind of beast. With their harmonious melodies over a bedrock of electronic-rock, Crosses will see themselves in our humble country later this month for one of our biggest touring festivals, Soundwave. We caught up with guitarist Shaun to chat about the festival, their self titled album and the band in general.

After returning from their brief hiatus last month, UK emo/punk act Basement have announced they'll be coming back to Australia in July/August for a slew of headline dates.Following a successful debut tour back in 2012, it'll be the first chance Australian fans get to witness songs from third studio album 'Colourmeinkindness', released just prior to the band announcing their brief hiatus.The tour will see the band joined by Toy Boats as well as Melbourne punks Apart from This.

Provoke, Destroy have announced that they are now signed to Indianola Records. The band will release their label-debut, 'Vulture,' later this year.

Kublai Khan from Texas haveannounced a new signing with Artery Recordings. Their new album, 'Balancing Survival & Happiness,' will be released on April 29th.

Upon This Dawning have released their new song, 'Obey.'

My Chemical Romance are streaming their final song, 'Fake Your Death.'
