It continues at Adelaide’s Hindley Street Music Hall on Tuesday, 4 and Wednesday, 5 August, Melbourne’s Forum on Sunday, 9 and Monday, 10 August, Sydney’s Enmore Theatre on Wednesday, 12 and Thursday, 13 August, and concludes at Brisbane’s Fortitude Music Hall on Saturday, 15 and Sunday, 16 August.

In a statement, Parkway Drive frontman Winston McCall explained that the band was inspired to revisit their earlier records after introducing the Killing with a Smile medley on their recent 20th anniversary arena tour and decided to follow the spark and “create something special.”
He said, “This idea kicked off when we started working on the KWAS [Killing with a Smile] medley for our last tour. Revisiting Killing with a Smile with a fresh perspective lit a spark that remained after we finished up, so we figured, rather than let the spark die, let’s take it and create something special.

“For all the people who have waited to hear these songs live again, for all the people that never got the chance to see these two albums on stage, for ourselves reconnecting with the core energy at the heart of this band, this tour is for all of us. Some of these songs haven’t been played live in over a decade, some have never been played at all. You wanted it, now you got it, so let’s make this moment worth the wait.”
Recognised for pyrotechnics-laden, theatrical performances as well as their music, Parkway Drive’s 20th anniversary tour in 2024 marked their biggest Australian run to date, where they performed at sold-out arenas with the largest production of their career.
They’ve shared stages with Metallica, Slipknot, Lamb of God, and many others, performed with a full symphony orchestra at the Sydney Opera House, and continue to break boundaries for Australian heavy music.
Earlier this month, the band shared a statement after their former associate, Jed Gordon, the brother of Parkway Drive drummer Ben Gordon and who has previously been described as the band’s “ex-merch guy,” was given a two-year apprehended domestic violence order and placed onto the child protection register after having pled guilty in March to having sexual intercourse with a minor.
“We reiterate our shock and distress about this situation,” the band said.
Upon Gordon’s guilty plea in March, Parkway Drive issued two statements, initially noting that his behaviour was “appalling and we condemn it,” and explaining that while Gordon’s actions “happened before we were a band,” they still “bear moral responsibility for contracting him from 2003, on and off over the years.”
“This is fucked, and this is Jed’s reckoning to answer for,” McCall later said in a video statement shared on social media. “It's his reckoning, and he will answer for it.
“We employed him for a long time, and we put him in a position where he had contact with a lot of people, and it’s our moral responsibility to carry.”
