Fatboy Slim Announces 2027 Australian Tour Dates

One of the most iconic names in electronic and dance music will be returning to Australia next year, with the great Fatboy Slim announcing a run of 2027 tour dates.

Kicking off in March 2027, the seven-date run of shows will see the great Norman Cook eschewing traditional stage setups and instead returning to his roots as he gets closer to fans with more personal shows in underground and urban outdoor spaces.

Kicking off at Fremantle's Esplanade Park on March 3rd, he'll play an intimate three-night residency inside the iconic heritage bays of Carriageworks in Sydney.

In Brisbane, he'll head over to the South Bank Forecourt for the return of On The Banks, and he'll wrap it up with two nights in Melbourne, performing at The Underpass – a new location found beneath the elevated freeway in West Melbourne.

“For this tour to Australia I wanted to get up close with my people, play venues with real atmosphere and have a proper party!” the iconic figure says. “Bridges, rivers, parks, old railway sheds – if it’s a bit weird and the sound system’s loud enough, I’m there.”

With four cities each boasting different vibes for the run of shows, such an undertaking should come as no surprise for the music veteran – who has been dazzling local audiences since the ‘90s.

In March 2025, Fatboy Slim launched his most recent Australian headline tour, and in true fashion, it contained unexpected events such as a one-off DJ set at Melbourne's Revolver Upstairs.

Most notably, he also ventured into St Kilda to play a pop-up secret set at the Northern Soul fish and chip shop as part of their ongoing Soul Sessions series.

While it remains to be seen whether or not Australian fans can expect the unexpected when Fatboy Slim returns in March 2027, these unique venues are already ensuring it’ll be an affair to remember.

Tickets to Fatboy Slim’s upcoming Australian tour go on sale at 9am local time on Tuesday, September 15th, with a pre-sale launching 24 hours earlier.
