Paramore face legal action over possible copyright infringement
Pop rock stars Paramore are being sued by a smaller act who claim the band ripped off their song.The relatively unknown Florida band Tenspoke Indies claim that part of their song "Starlighter" has been taken and used in Paramore's hit "The Only Exception". The suit, which was filed in U.S. District Court in Pennsylvania, asserts that in 2006 Tenspoke Indies sent a copy of the song to Paramore's record label Fueled By Ramen. They had already performed "Starlighter" in concert which was featured on their album "Blinded By Sound".In 2009 Paramore released their album "Brand New Eyes", which included "The Only Exception". Tenspoke claims that there is substantial similarity between the two songs “including but not limited to, similarities in the introductions, arrangements, the chord progression, the key, the melody, the lyrical theme, the rhythm and tempo of both songs.”Because of the similarities in the songs, and because Paramore has failed to credit Tenspoke, they are suing for copy...

Every Time I Die may be facing legal action over the series of pranks the band posted last week when promoting their upcoming new DVD, "Shit Happens: The Series". The band took a unique approach to promoting the new DVD, where they decided to post fake re-tweets from celebrities such as Kanye West, Andy Dick, Justin Bieber, and Jimmy Fallon.
