Californian metalcore heavyweights Atreyu will be returning to Australian shores in 8 short days for the No Sleep Til Festival series, wrapping up the bulk of the tour cycle of their latest record ‘Congregation of the Damned’. The band also recently release a collection of covers called ‘Covers of the Damned’ with touring bandmates Architects, Endless Hallway, Blessthefall and Chiodos. We caught up with Atreyu’s drummer Brandon Saller to talk Australia, Atreyu, side projects and pumpkin curry.

Like or not, the name A Day To Remember is one which has absolutely taken the alternative music world by storm in recent years. Their undeniably catchy brand of pop-mosh has gotten dancefloors and festival crowds moving the world over, as the band continue to recruit legions of enthusiastic new fans. With the release of their new album “What Separates Me From You” in November and their return to Australia on the upcoming No Sleep Til festival dates, we caught up with the band’s guitarist Kevin to talk everything A Day To Remember.

New York metallic hardcore veterans Most Precious Blood will release a new album entitled "Do Not Resuscitate" via Bullet Tooth on January 2 next year. 

Welsh metallers Bullet For My Valentine have released a video for their latest single "Bittersweet Memories" off the band's third major label release, "Fever".

Corey Taylor, Lead vocalist of Slipknot and Stone Sour has released a Christmas song titled 'XM@$'

Rise Records flag-bearers, Decoder have recently posted a new track online.  Titled, 'The Horrid' the song is featured on their Myspace and is 1 of 10 off their forthcoming debut full-length, titled Decoder.  Check the track out here. 

German metalers, Sodom have recently unveiled their separation with drummer, Bobby Schottkowski: "After personal and private problems between Tom [Such, Sodom frontman] and Bobby, it was decided by mutual agreement the end of the cooperation between Sodom and drummer Bobby Schottkowski. Tom and Bernemann will announce as soon as possible a replacement drummer. The shows from January will be performed as planned and the upcoming tour in February will take place in any case. By then we will have incorporated a new drummer. We thank you for your understanding and your loyal support."

Masked metal band Slipknot have revealed they have begun the early stages of preparing new music. Speaking to Billboard recently, drummer Joey Jordison discussed tentative details of new material.

Based in Southern Michigan/Northwest Ohio, Citizen are one of the best new bands in pop punk that I have heard recently. The band's new split EP with The Fragile Season is available to pre-order now from Either/Or Records, but before the split is released we caught up with the band's guitarist Nick to discuss the band.
