Face to Face and Rise Against will reportedly release a split EP. The news comes as Face to Face frontman Trever Keith tweeted

Los Angeles, California based band Seahaven have announced that they have signed with Run For Cover Records. The label will be releasing the band's "Ghost" EP on 12" vinyl in March.

August Burns Red have announced that they will be entering the studio on February 14 to record their fourth studio album. The band will once again be recording with producer/engineer Jason Suecof (All That Remains, Whitechapel) at his Audio Hammer Studios near Orlando, Florida.

Southern California's renowned independent rock label, Epitaph Records, announces today the signing of Raleigh, North Carolina based rock sextet Alesana. In a deal inked in late-2010, Alesana plans to release their fourth studio album in late 2011. The group is currently on a US tour with former Epitaph band Escape The Fate.

Unwritten Law have posted the first single from their upcoming sixth studio album onto their myspace page. The song "Starships and Apocalypse" is the first song to be released from their album "Swan", which is scheduled to be released on March 29 through BreakSilence Recordings/Suburban Noize Records.

A Skylit Drive have posted the new music video for their song "Too Little Too Late". "Too Little Too Late" is taken from the band's third studio album "Identity On Fire", which will be released on February 15 through Fearless Records.

Philadelphia based band A Life Once Lost have announced that they have  officially signed with Season Of Mist. After previously releasing material with Deathwish Inc. and Ferret, the band will release their new album through Season Of Mist later in 2011.

Rancid guitarist and vocalist Lars Frederiksen has announced the formation of a new side-project, The Old Firm. The band is yet to post any music yet, but they have described themselves as "a brand new american Oi! band," and are promising to release a 7" soon.

Explosions In The Sky have announced that they will be releasing their new album on April 22 through Temporary Residence. The album is titled "Take Care, Take Care, Take Care" and was recorded in Austin, Texas by John Congleton and features artwork from Esteban Rey.
