Canada’s long serving kings of Punk - D.O.A - have been at the forefront of punk rock counterculture for over 30 years, happily slashing away at our philosophical enemies with their scathing punk anthems and furious live shows since 1978. Now, led by the inexhaustible Joey ‘Shithead’ Keithley and in conjunction with Punk Rock Road Trips, D.O.A will finally return to southern shores, blasting through a series of live shows in Australia and New Zealand in March 2011. The tour marks the 30th anniversary of the seminal D.O.A. album “Hardcore 81”. This release made the term ‘hardcore’ their own, not only pushing it into the common vernacular but also catapulting the band onto the world stage. They become known as ‘The Fathers of Hardcore’, re-defining the sound of punk rock and have since been cited as a major influence for numerous bands ranging from The Red Hot Chilli Peppers to Green Day and Rancid to Offspring. A new Crime In Stereo DVD entitled "Everything Changes/Nothing Is Ever Truly Lost" has been announced, and will be widely available in the coming months. The DVD is set to feature the band's Kingston, UK show from 2010 where they played their album "The Troubled Stateside" in its entirety, the band's music video for "I Am Everything I Am Not", as well as a few more other features. The man behind the DVD, Ryan Mackfall, who also directed the video for "I Am Everything I Am Not", posted the following on his website explaining the DVD release.

Foundation have announced that their debut album "When The Smoke Clears", will be released on May 3, not the previously announced release date of April 19, through Bridge 9 Records.

The Story So Far have posted a new song as a free download onto their bandcamp page. The song "Fucked Up" can be downloaded for free here, although the band has not stated whether the track is going to appear on a forthcoming release.

The Blackout have posted the new music video for their song "Higher And Higher". The song is taken from the band's new album "Hope", which is scheduled to be released on April 4 through Cooking Vinyl.

Hit The Lights have posted a video of them playing an acoustic version of a new song "Get To You". The band's front man Nick Thompson had the following to say about the track: "Here’s a new song we’ve been kicking around. A little background: we had wanted to start putting some new songs out there acoustically because 1. it’s fun 2. Nobody has any idea what we’ve been up to 3. It’s always cool to hear a song before it’s produced and recorded. My friend Crystal from soundsthatmatter.com hit me up asking if we wanted to do an acoustic song and it just seemed like the perfect opportunity. This song is a rocker, but it sounds great stripped too. Not bad for a few times through, it’s good for what it is. I hope you guys enjoy it and we can’t wait to show off the real deal soon! Of Legends, the new project of Luis Dubuc of The Secret Handshake and former and current members of Drop Dead Gorgeous and Sky Eats Airplane, have posted the new music video for their song "Save The Humans".

We Are The Union have announced that trombone player and vocalist Matt Belanger has decided to leave the band. The band posted: "First, we’d like to announce the departure of our friend Matt Belanger. After a series of talks over the last few weeks, the band and Matt ultimately came upon a mutual decision to part ways. There are no hard feelings and we’re stoked for what the future has in store for him."

Memphis May Fire have posted some of the details of their forthcoming new album "The Hollow". The album will be released on April 26 through Rise Records.
