Massachusetts thrash metallers Shadows Fall are continuing work on their new studio album, with frontman Brian Fair recently issuing some brief updates.

We Are The In Crowd have announced completion of their debut full length, and have named the release date and title of the record's first single.

Due to ticket sales being less successful then originally hoped for and sponsorship falling through merely months (in some cases weeks) before the festival we regret to publicly announce the ‘Sounds Of A Silhouette’ festival originally planned for July 30 is having to be postponed to the early months of 2012. We understand this is not only an inconvenience to you, the punter… but promoters around the country and the bands whom originally agreed to come to regional WA. THIS FESTIVAL IS NOT BEING CANCELLED. Being an independent company we had tried to keep this dream alive by investing every last cent we had but regardless of our efforts we haven’t been able to meet some of the demands necessary to meet the deadlines in place. Now that we have had a taste of their new music with the single Up All Night, Blink-182's Mark Hoppus has announced the band's next album will be titled, 'Neighborhoods.'

Philadelphia, PA based Reign Supreme has signed with Mediaskare Records and will release their upcoming EP 'Sky Burial' later this year through the label. "All the bands I know on Mediaskare love being on the label. That was pretty much enough for me," commented vocalist Jay Pepito on why the band chose Mediaskare. Adding, "We just want to work with a label that will bend over backwards to help us achieve our goals as a band, we feel like Mediaskare is that label." The band will soon enter the studio with their long-time producer Will Putney to begin recording their new 7-song EP 'Sky Burial'. "Sky Burial comes from the Tibetan tradition of bringing the dead to a mountain, or other place where vultures gather. Hostage Calm have posted a new song from their forthcoming new 7" onto the Alternative Press website. The song "Donna Lee" is taken from the band's new 7" that they will be releasing as a part of the recently launched Run For Cover Records 7" subscription series, which will be released at the end of this month.

Rain Dogs, a new hardcore band from Byron Bay featuring Parkway Drive front man Winston McCall, former Comeback Kid bassist Kevin Call, and members of Spray and Street Youth, have had a song from their first show posted online.
