After more than 45 years at its Dundas Lane, Albert Park location, Mushroom Group is taking its headquarters to a new spot in Melbourne.
Moving to the heart of the city’s CBD, the renowned independent Australian label begins its next chapter in a new, “standalone warehouse style building” on Little Collins Street.
The new building will be home to the company’s numerous operations across “international and domestic touring, record labels, talent management, event curation and production, music publishing, creative services, booking agencies, merchandising, marketing services, film production and distribution, neighbouring rights,” and more.
According to a press release, Mushroom Group will move into its new head office at the end of 2026. As a result, the company’s previously separated teams on Dundas Lane, Montague Street and York Street will be brought together, while offices for Frontier Touring and Love Police ATM remain in South Melbourne and Port Melbourne, respectively.
In a statement, Mushroom Group Chief Executive Matt Gudinski explained that it’s taken “many years” to find the right building to continue the company’s hard work into the future, and the new Little Collins Street headquarters “ticked all the right boxes.”

“Dundas Lane has been our home for nearly fifty years. It’s a place that’s special to everyone at Mushroom and has been a hub for so many incredible artists and people who helped shape Australia’s music industry into what it is today,” Gudinski said.
He continued, “It took many years to identify the right building and location for the future of the company. This is a significant move, and we wanted a space that ticked all the right boxes.
“As Mushroom continues to grow, moving our headquarters into the city places us right in the middle of Melbourne’s vibrant creative and cultural community, positioning us perfectly for the future.”
Mushroom hosts approximately 300 full-time staff members in locations across Melbourne, Sydney, Auckland, Los Angeles, and London, with thousands of others delivering operations year on year.
