The Pretty Littles are Jack, Sam, Liam and JP. They limped onto the music scene in 2011
playing some kind of horror mash up of singer/songwriter Jack Parsons’ previous love of Jack
Johnson and Matt Costa and his new love of The Vasco Era and The Mess Hall.
It took a few albums and a few hundred shows but the band would eventually work out what
they were doing. With spins across community radio and Triple J, the single of their 2016 album
Soft Rock for the Anxious,
“Pride” would become some kind of break through for the band with
high rotation on jjj, single of the week on FBI and festival appearances at By The Meadow,
Festival of the Sun, Chopped, St Kilda Fest and Party in the Paddock; support slots of Band Of
Skulls, The Cribs, The Datsuns, Vasco Era; tours with Northeast Party House, Ceres and
Bad//Dreems and their own sold out shows across the country.
Their 5th album Skeleton Run followed a couple of years later and while lead single Don Dale
wasn’t quite fit for radio due to the odd C-bomb, it has now amassed 2.1 million streams on
Spotify alone. Skeleton Run was launched at a sold out Corner Hotel and the band toured the
album hard across the country with sold out shows in Brisbane, Sydney and Adelaide and
appearances at Loch Hart Festival and Brunswick Music Festival.
Lockdown was the ultimate handbrake with 6th album Weekend Away being released during
this period, which the band would eventually launch with two sold out shows at The Tote nearly
2 years later. Eventually the band got going again with new members touring NSW and QLD for
the first time in 5 years with sold out shows across the board. The band thencompleted a
national tour in support of The Smith Street Band alongside two Tote shows to launch Australian
Dream.
In 2025 they released their 7th album Force in Australia on Endless Records and Community
Music and in Europe on Sounds of Subterrania. The album features loved singles Force and
Australian Dream and represents a new and invigorated version of this old band.
The band's 8th album will be out early 2026 through Endless Records, with first single Good
Sleeps arriving in Nov 2025.
