Iron MaidenIron Maiden have officially launched into the 2026 leg of their Run For Your Lives World Tour, which will see the British metal icons return to Australia later this year.
Returning to Athens, Greece, for their first show of the tour since last August, the band performed on Saturday (23 May). And the show featured a massive surprise, which, if you don’t want to see, we recommend looking away now.
Performing 17 hits from some of their most iconic albums, including classics like The Number of the Beast, Run to the Hills, The Trooper, and more, many of the songs on the setlist are mainstays.
There was a big shock on Saturday, however, when Iron Maiden performed Infinite Dreams, from their Seventh Son of a Seventh Son album for the first time in 38 years.

Iron Maiden are celebrating their 50th anniversary in Australia and New Zealand in November.

The shows begin at Auckland’s Spark Arena on Saturday, 7 and Sunday, 8 November, followed by dates at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre (Wednesday, 11 November), Melbourne’s AAMI Park on Friday, 13 November, Sydney’s Allianz Stadium on Sunday, 15 November, and two nights at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre (Wednesday, 18 and Thursday, 19 November).
For the tour, Maiden will be accompanied by special guests Megadeth, who are likely to perform their final-ever dates in Australia while they’re here. Tickets are available via the TEG Dainty website.
