Nina Las Vegas, Bridget Hustwaite, Mardi Caught & More Added To Indie-Con Speakers Line-up

Indie-Con Australia returns to Adelaide for its tenth edition from Wednesday, 29 to Friday, 31 July.

This year’s Indie-Con Australia conference has grown once more with the addition of a new batch of speakers.

The conference, held by the Australian Independent Record Labels Association (AIR), returns to Adelaide for its tenth edition from Wednesday, 29 to Friday, 31 July. AIR is also hosting A2IM’s Indie Week Australian Edition across those three days, once again bringing the world’s largest music market to South Australia.

Joining the previously announced speakers are some of Australia’s and the world’s most successful, innovative stars behind award-winning campaigns and influential independent music companies.

The newly announced roster includes best-selling author, presenter and former triple j host Bridget Hustwaite alongside Select Music’s Casey O’Shaughnessy, Ninja Tune’s Hannah Silk Champagne, The Annex founder Mardi Caught, NLV Records founder Nina Las Vegas, Community Music’s Rachel Kelly, Warp Publishing’s Théo Seffusatti, and others. Additional speakers are set to be announced in late June.

The 2026 edition of Indie-Con Australia will focus on touring, artist-run labels and self-managed artists, the age of AI, marketing, synchronisations, artist development, distribution, gaming, and more. Plus, there will be a case study on Folk Bitch Trio, as well as Spotlights on Asia, AXEAN & Scandinavia, Keynote speakers and workshops.
