Irish pop-rockers The Script are returning to Australia in March 2027 for their Man In The Arena World Tour.

One of Frontier Touring’s most toured, frequent flying international acts, the group return for three East Coast arena shows – their first dates in Australia since February 2025, which included A Day On The Green headline shows.

The Man In The Arena Tour marks The Script’s twelfth headline tour of Australia with Frontier Touring. The shows begin at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre on Tuesday, 23 March, and continue at Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena on Thursday, 25 March, and conclude at Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena on Saturday, 27 March.

Fans who pre-order the band’s new album, The User’s Guide To Being Human, out on Friday, 14 August, from The Script’s official artist store can access pre-sale tickets from Tuesday, 26 May, at 11 am local time. The pre-sale runs for 70.5 hours via this link.

After the album pre-order pre-sale, Frontier Members can access pre-sale tickets on Wednesday, 27 May, at 11 am local time, followed by the general sale on Friday, 29 May, at 9:30 am local time. You can find more ticketing information on the Frontier Touring website.

“We can’t wait to take our worldwide tour back to Australia again,” said frontman Danny O’Donoghue. “We have such a long-standing friendship with our fans and Frontier Touring, it feels like home away from home. Get ready for another banging show!”

The tour has been announced as The Script kick off the album campaign for their upcoming album, The User’s Guide To Being Human, with the new single, Man In The Arena, which you can check out below.

The Man In The Arena music video finds The Script reunited with director Charles Mehling, who directed the clips for their classic tunes Breakeven and For The First Time. O’Donoghue said of the new song, “Most people will never fully understand the relationship I have with words and music. It's how I process everything. I love music, I love words, and I love being Irish.

“All my life, I poured indescribable emotions into song. When I was bullied in school, I never fought back. I'd wait until I got home and I'd try and sing as high and as powerfully as I could, letting the pain feel every note. When my father died, that grief became fuel for the best songs I could write.”

The new album follows 2024’s Satellites, which saw O’Donoghue attempt to process his grief following the passing of bandmate Mark Sheehan.
