Adelaide soul songstress Kelly Brouhaha has unveiled her incredibly warm and uplifting new single, As Long As There's A Smile, the heartwarming, DIY video clip for which is proudly premiering on theMusic.com.au today.
Officially released tomorrow, the song is something of a beacon of light and optimism for the singer-songwriter, having come out the other side of a dark period of depression and debt following her divorce.
It's her first new song in three years, and Brouhaha's brightness and indomitable nature shine through in its anthemic, positive vibes. It carries a special personal weight for her, having been recorded with producer Marty Brown in the same place that Clare Bowditch recorded her impactful album, The Winter I Chose Happiness.
"That album, for me, was a real turning point in my career," she said in a statement. "The messages on that record to follow your heart encouraged me to quit my day job.

"I was on my very first solo tour in 2012 when I first heard it, and totally freaking out. After hearing that, I came home and quit my job.
"To be able to record [As Long As There's A Smile] in the same place that album as made was something really special and I think we really captured the vibe of the lyrics this time around."
Armed with her renewed sense of determination and self-confidence, Brouhaha will be kicking off a solo acoustic tour next week, after dipping her toes in the water with an invite-only appearance on Three D Radio this Saturday.
From 29 June, Brouhaha sets off to shows in Deans Marsh, San Remo, Newport, Melbourne, Bendigo, Newcastle, Bellingen and Sydney, where she finishes the tour at The Music Lounge on 22 July.
