Rise Against Reveal 2026 Australian Tour Dates With Dropkick Murphys

In a 2025 interview with The Music, Rise Against's Tim McIlrath teased the band's return to Australia, saying they were "conspiring" to bring their show to a country that's always supported them.

Rise Against will return to Australia and New Zealand this November and December, locking in their largest-ever shows in the region. For the tour, they’ll be joined by Boston’s rock ‘n’ roll underdogs, Dropkick Murphys.

The tour begins with two nights in New Zealand, where the bands will perform at Christchurch’s Wolfbrook Arena on Saturday, 21 November, and Auckland’s Spark Arena on Tuesday, 24 November. From there, they head to Australia.

The Australian stops commence at Melbourne’s John Cain Arena on Thursday, 26 November, followed by Brisbane’s Riverstage on Sunday, 29 November, the Sydney Opera House Forecourt on Tuesday, 1 December, and conclude at Perth’s Red Hill Auditorium on Friday, 4 December.

In between shows, both bands will appear alongside The Living End and Jebediah at Meltdown Festival, taking place at Gosford’s Entertainment Grounds on Saturday, 28 November.

Rise Against were last in Australia in early 2024, when they opened numerous arena shows for blink-182. These shows mark their first headline run in the country since 2018. Dropkick Murphys also toured Australia in 2024, sharing the stage with Alkaline Trio.

Rise Against and Dropkick Murphys are touring following the release of their tenth and thirteenth albums, respectively. The former dropped Ricochet last August, and in an accompanying interview with The Music, frontman Tim McIlrath teased their forthcoming return to Australia: “We are currently conspiring to get down and bring the show to Australia,” he said. “This is a place that has supported us for so long, so we are definitely coming back.”
