Dom Dolla Plots One-Off Stadium Show In Melbourne

Dom Dolla will showcase the world premiere of his brand-new stadium production when he returns home this September.

Aussie DJ Dom Dolla is coming home this September, today announcing his first-ever stadium show in Melbourne.

Earlier this month, Marvel Stadium General Manager Scott Fitzgerald teased that a major artist would perform at the venue during the week of this year’s AFL Grand Final. Now, it’s confirmed: Dom Dolla will make his debut at Marvel Stadium on Thursday, 24 September.

Presented in partnership with Untitled Group and Frontier Touring, the show takes place on the eve of Melbourne’s AFL Grand Final long weekend, marking an Australian-exclusive event and landmark homecoming for the Dreamin’ hitmaker.

Fans who sign up to Dom Dolla’s website can access pre-sale tickets from 12 pm AEST this Friday, 29 May, with the pre-sale lasting 71 hours or until allocation is exhausted.

The Frontier Members and Untitled pre-sales follow, both going live on Friday, 29 May, at 2 pm AEST for a 69-hour pre-sale or until ticket allocation is exhausted. The general sale begins on Monday, 1 June, at 12 pm AEST. You can find more ticketing information via Ticketmaster.

Dom Dolla will showcase the world premiere of his brand-new stadium production when he returns home this September, making his Marvel Stadium performance one of the most-anticipated electronic events Melbourne has ever seen.

“Melbourne clubs are where I cut my teeth as a DJ,” Dom Dolla shared in a statement. He continued, “I don’t get to play at home as often as I’d like these days, so after touring all over the world and learning what makes a great show, I wanted this one to be incredibly special.

“Turning this stadium into a superclub has been a dream of mine for years now, and I can’t believe we’re finally making it a reality. I am so grateful for the support Melbourne has shown me over the years. See you in September.”

The show follows Dom Dolla’s record-breaking Australian stadium debut at Sydney’s Allianz Stadium in December, where he set a new benchmark for electronic music events in this country.

His Marvel Stadium date marks one of the largest headline electronic shows to be staged in Australia and comes after Dom Dolla dropped the tracks Addicted to Bass and Don’t Worry Baby feat. Tiga, both of which he teased at Sydney’s Allianz Stadium.
