The WAM Award winner gets a little darker on her next single.. WA-based experimental electronic gal KUČKA has been on a roll in 2014 following the release of her breakout single Unconditional, most recently taking home three WA Music Awards, which has flowed nicely into The Fader today premiering her latest single, Divinity. While Unconditional had leanings towards slinky, future-R&B, Divinity (her first release on Inertia's new imprint Midnight Feature) is a deeper, darker cut, although still with a focus on her otherworldly production and layers for days. WA beatstress KUČKA is taking her latest single on the road.. Riding high on a wave of buzz following the recent release of her rad new single Unconditional, it's rad remixes (links down the bottom) and a heap of BigSOUND hype, KUČKA is embarking on her debut national tour this October. Unconditional is a slow-burn, experimental R&Booty jam that has seen the A$AP Rocky collaborator reach the FBi Northern Lights competition finals, along with being named by The Guardian UK as one of the Top Five Under-The-Radar Australian bands. The 2014 Radiothon is taking over four Northbridge venues for an epic pledge drive kick-off.. Perth institution RTRFM is an entirely self-funded enterprise, and each year for 10 days the radio station calls on you, the listeners, to give a little back over the course of a 10-day Radiothon Pledge Drive. One of the many ways you can do it (check HERE for all the details) is simply by attending the 2014 Radiothon Party, going down Friday August 15 across four Northbridge venues - The Bakery, The Bird, Ya Ya's and Flyrite. Each venue hosts four unique line-ups, featuring some of Perth's best and brightest: THE BAKERY - Savoir, Rainy Day Women, Kučka, Davey Craddock & The Spectacles and The Weapon is Sound. YA YA's - Dream Rimmy, Loners, HAMJAM and Hideous Sun Demon.
