"This was a human being who unwittingly took something that will flat out kill you, and I have no idea why we have people out here dealing in this stuff, peddling this stuff."

The Swedes are coming! Iconic Melodic Death Metal outfit Soilwork are coming to Australia in November 2022. By the time the tour dates roll around, we will have their latest album in our hands, too - it's released in August!

“Perhaps we should have waited to announce until we were further along however we were overly excited to share the good news.”

It's been quite the day for heavy/alternative artists collaborating or releasing EDM/Electronic Music. If you are into AFI's Davey Havok and Jade Puget, you will already know Blaqk Audio. Today, they dropped a new single, Blue Cherry. It's Sultry, it's moody, it's EMO and we love it.

The best new new tunes you need in your life from this week including Johnny Hunter, Purient, Lara D, Shady Nasty, Shygirl, ONEFOUR, Jewel Owusu & more

Five Finger Death Punch cop a hiding online sometimes, but hey, 'Nickelback' them all ya like, they sell tickets, they stream their asses off (over 8 billion streams to date), they connect with their audience like the best of them. Today they have dropped the news about their new record 'AFTERLIFE' and ripped out a new single, 'IOU'.

"One of the things I’m doing directly is un-canceling the canceled."

We will never NOT cover anything Spiritbox/Courtney LaPlante related. So, in that spirit (*giggle*) we recommend that you get this in your ears immediately. Illenium is an EDM artist who has previously collaborated with I Prevail and more, so there is pedigree and history here on heavy music/EDM projects. It features SOARING vocals from Courtney, then some screams then a FAT dubstep breakdown, so, you know, PLAY ON!

Ratking are releasing their new EP 'Nervous Nature' on Friday June 17 - and they dropped an absolute ripper of a track in 'Panic Station' last month, so we had to catch up with AJ from the band about it. Alex Callan jumped on Zoom to get the lowdown.
