Overall, it was a memorable gig and one to note as the best for 2013.

It’s weird and really stupid in that regard, but it props up the stunning action and visuals ably. Ably or just, depending on your tolerance for this stuff.

DJ Artime’s proper DJ style, cutting to the beat and enhancing every track really helped the show along as well, which all things considered, exceeded all expectations.

A no nonsense and humble yet electric set from a band who are about to make a lot of noise, Buchanan played it cool with the mantra, “let’s get on with the fucking show,” and through the cacophony of chatter and clinking schooners, they did.

He closed the night with a beautiful Hebrew and Arabic hymn, channeling his Israeli roots and leaving everyone with a sweet taste in their mouth after a thoroughly enjoyable evening.

Asymmetry is challenging and complex yet intricate and delicate at times. It is not an easy listen but that is not what you would expect from a band of this depth. This album demands contemplation and deserves it.

Between The Walls is a valiant effort to capture the mysterious energy of collective performance on record. About Group don’t entirely succeed, but there are plenty of sweet moments to keep you entertained.

Apparently he’s already talking about album number two - if this great effort is anything to go by, come on Sunshine – get on with it!
