The top three songs are The Charles Atlas Way, Dogs Are The Best People and, not surprisingly, Self Abuser. It’s great to hear these tracks in the live arena played by this shameless bunch of Aussie larrikins.

Not a great deal is known about the next album that will dropping from Seekae, but expect big things (and hopefully more mouth organ).

Wilkinson is one of the rare artists whose vocals embody a kind of charisma that pulls you in and forces you to do the rarest thing in the world… feel.

There was no encore, nor was it necessary, but the two hung around the back of the venue afterwards and were happy to chat to adoring fans as they left in what was a very memorable – and extremely sweaty – evening.

They spruik once more how stoked they are at the reception for their first tour before offering a brilliant finale with a version of The Gun Club’s For The Love Of Ivy, the night ending with the band and crowd all united in mass jubilation, arms upraised and grins galore.
