Hansard finished up the night with a collaborative version of The Auld Triangle, a last nod to St Patrick’s Day that culminated in the audience in its entirety on their feet.

It was hard not to feel bad for him as people filed out en masse during Dancing On The Ceiling, Hello and All Night Long (All Night).

The Good Life, the closing defiant anthem and opening track from Rose’s self-titled EP (being launched tonight), is final proof that we’ve all witnessed a monumental talent on the way up.

Great sounds for believers of good music, not matter what their denomination.

The sound was perfect, except nowhere near loud enough.
